With your help HUF is in the process of building a boarding home for orphans of Delmas, Haiti street kids. A state-of-the-art community mobile clinic and a computer resource center.
Group and Residential Care. We will provide Group and residential care programs, a type of live-in, out-of-home care placement in which staff are trained to work with children and youth whose specific needs are best addressed in a highly structured environment. These placements will be time-limited and offer a higher level of structure and supervision than what can be provided in the home. In addition, we will offer care for pregnant adolescents and parenting, care for children and youth with mental health or behavioral problems.

Our mobile clinic will allow citizens to receive safe access to standard health assessments, COVID-19 testing, immunizations, and many other health services. Increased Accessibility for Everyone Unfortunately, only some have convenient access to a traditional doctor's office. Mobile clinics help bridge that gap by providing easy access to healthcare providers and services. Medical trailers also help lessen the often-lengthy downtime between appointments and make it easier for people in smaller and underserved communities to attain the medical services they need.
Computer resource center. And a computer resource center to help the kids learn computer literacy, help with homework, etc. Technology for All Our Computer Resource Centers will bridge the "Digital Divide" when members of the communities we will serve learn how to use the Internet, word processing, web design, desktop publishing, and much more. We do this by introducing children to more productive ways of utilizing computer and technology resources than recreational web surfing or by helping seniors become acquainted with technology and learn to navigate through Windows and other programs. The Computer Resource Centers will offer free computer access and instruction to citizens of all ages. In addition, we will bridge the digital divide by bringing technology, career services, and academic and art programs into the communities.
